The Mini-Z High Power uses the newest generation of LEDs to provide twice as much light as the original Mini-Z without increasing power consumption. Controlling the light is a new built-in 4 step dimmer which, along with the ultra-flexible body, gives unprecedented control over personal lighting.

The weighted base can be swapped with the included desk clamp for a super small footprint. The lamp will come in two versions, each with a different shade of white. Warm white, the most popular, has

a soft glow like incandescent or halogen, while daylight is a very clean white similar to cool white fluorescent lighting.

The advanced LED technology is highly efficient, allowing the lamp to run off just 7.4 watts of electricity and generates very low heat so it doesn't present the fire risk of a halogen light. You can comfortably touch it at any time and work up close without uncomfortable heat. There is also no glass to break if the lamp is knocked over, and unlike fluorescent lights, they contain no mercury. The LEDs are rated to last 40,000 hours before dropping to 70% of their original brightness. At a full 8 hours every day, this works out to over 13 years of useful life.
