The i-Bar™ High Power LED desk lamp uses the latest generation of LEDs to provide energy efficient lighting in a slim and ultra compact design, perfect for places where space is tight. The i-Bar High Power is as slim as a finger, and can be folded down from 28" to just 14" tall to virtually disappear. It has a flat, low profile weighted base which can be swapped with the included desk clamp to take up just two postage stamps worth of desk space for the ultimate in compact installations. The newest generation of top tier high performance LEDs provide twice as much light as the original i-Bar without increasing power consumption. Brightness is now

adjustable with a built-in 4 step dimmer. The lamp will come in two versions, each with a different shade of white light. Warm white is the most popular and has a soft glow like incandescent or halogen. Daylight gives a very clean white light similar to cool white fluorescent lighting. Additional benefits of the new lamp are high energy efficiency, and low heat. The lamp runs off just 7.4 watts of electricity at the maximum brightness setting, and you can comfortably touch it at any time and work up close without uncomfortable heat. There is also no glass to break if the lamp is knocked over, and unlike fluorescent lights, the LEDs contains no mercury. The LEDs are rated to last 40,000 hours before dropping to 70% of their original brightness. At a full 8 hours every day, this works out to over 13 years of useful life.
